LEE Tian-han is a teenager who questions everything. His father, LEE Yi-feng, is a doctor with ambition, and his mother, XU Shu-yi, is a doctor’s wife who strives to maintain peace at home and resist external pressures. His younger brother, Tian-rui, has a warm personality. Although their family appears perfect to outsiders, Tian-han has always had a nagging feeling that Shu-yi is not truly happy and that the family’s facade is upheld by her willpower. After Tian-han enrolls in a prestigious school, he becomes a source of pride for his parents, making him believe their family is a mere model. He starts distancing himself from home and falls in love with the enigmatic LUO Xue-jin. However, while pursuing Xue-jin, he discovers that she also brings happiness to Shu-yi. Their secret liaison quietly impacts the fate of their family, including the course of Shu-yi’s life.
