Anna Ross

Biography:

Anna Ross is a singer songwriter with an extensive career in the music industry. Ross was first signed by the head of Chrysalis records with her band The V corporation. After the band finished Ross moved from Newcastle to London and has since worked with many well known artists including Tina Turner, Sting, Mark Ronson, Janelle Monae, Nile Rodgers ,TomJones, Stereophonics, Jamiroquai and most notably Duran Duran who she has done 4 world tours with. Career highlights include playing Coechella, Live Aid, the opening of the Olympics and performing one of her own compositions for Croatian TV on Christmas Day 2017. In between tours she has gained degrees both in Literature and psychology and it has been a natural progression to bring these experiences together to focus on her own music. Ross’s first album included 3 collaborations with Simon Le Bon; Nick Rhodes directed a video for it and John Taylor remixed a track. Her second album sees her exploring more jazz influences and collaborating with long time friend, Grammy winning writer Phil Ramocon, and French artists Foehn Trio and Jeremy Hababou who she first saw at the Chamonix Jazz festival.
