Yasmein Ziyad is a native of Atlanta, GA. She is the middle child out of five siblings, and has been performing since she was a small child. While in high school, she played Juliet in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet", also landing the lead role in "That was One." Yasmein has studied and worked as a professional actress for over 8 years, studying under the direction of Atlanta's best instructors. Since then she has worked on a number of independent productions to include: "Harvest", "World Wide Deception", "A Rose Thru Cancer", and "N.V." In 2009, she landed her first theatre production in World Changers "Christmas in Cambridge". She was also co-star in the hit stage play at the 14th Street Playhouse "The Eyes of The Storm". In 2012 she was nominated for Best Female Actress in the 48 Hour Film Festival for her leading role in "The Chamber". Yasmein Ziyad is studying under GregAlan Williams of Actors BreakThrough Studio, where she has become skilled in Acting for Film and Television, Sitcom Workshop with Mary Lou Belli, On Camera Combat Basics with Gus Williams, and Script Analysis. She has also trained with Tarsha Smith where she discovered the Ivana Chubbuck Technique, and Improv with Brent Brooks at Blank Stage Studios. In 2012 Yasmein wrote and starred in her first production "N.V.".
