Ashok Meena is a freelance cinematographer based in India. He graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India. He has shot numerous documentaries, fiction films, music videos, and ad films over the years. Some of his notable works include the feature documentary "Pushkar Puran" directed by Avant Garde filmmaker Kamal Swaroop, the Sundance award-winning documentary "Against The Tide" directed by Sarvnik Kaur, 69th National Award winner "MeenRaag" by Suruchi Sharma and "Aunty Sudha Aunty Radha " by Tanuja Chandra. His films have won several awards at prestigious film festivals like Sundance, Visions du Réel, DocsBarcelona, Asia Pacific Screen Awards, San Francisco International Film Festival, Sheffield International Documentary Festival, Busan International Film Festival, IDA-International Documentary Association, IDFA-International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, Bergen International Film Festival, Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, Munich International Documentary Festival, Mumbai Film Festival, National awards and Gotham Awards.
