Štěpán Havlín has experience in the film industry, both behind and in front of the camera. He appeared, for example, in a guest role in the series Doktorka Kellerová and in Václav Marhoul’s film The Painted Bird. His intense interest in film began in elementary school, where he started working on a long-term time-lapse documentary about an extraordinary homeless man in Nymburk, later released under the title Sweet Home. For this film, he received an award at the Pražský filmový kufr festival. From 2020 to 2024, he studied Film and Television Production at the Secondary School of Communication Technology in Prague. He completed his studies with a documentary film titled Code Z33, which explores the topic of abortion and its perception in society. Together with Vojtěch Kemeny, he founded the creative group Memoria artis in 2024, focusing on the production of feature and documentary films.
