Diego Andrés Murillo

Filmmaker: director/writer, editor, producer. Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Co-founder of EL FANTASMA, a Venezuelan film production company. Leaves his native country in the year 2016 and unexpectedly settles in NYC. To this date he has completed five shorts. His debut feature “El Sonido Es El Cuerpo” is currently in post-production, and he is developing his second one. His films have screened and won awards at international film festivals including Locarno, Brussels, Sitges, Cinélatino de Toulouse, Tacoma Film Festival, Brooklyn Film Festival, Chicago Latino, among many others.
